Virginia United FC's FQ Academy Youth program is one of the most established high-performance youth pathways on Brisbane's north side. The program competes in Football Queensland Academy competitions and provides a direct pathway from our FQ Academy Junior program through to our FQPL senior teams.
Following our most recent Football Queensland annual assessment, the program holds a Silver tier accreditation. We are committed to the ongoing development and evolution of the program as we await the outcome of our 2027 audit review.
With qualified coaches across every age group and oversight from our Head of High Performance, players are developed technically, physically and tactically to give them the best possible chance of progressing through the club's senior pathway.
Our FQ Academy Youth program has a strong record of producing graduates who have gone on to represent external FQA1 programs, state competitions, and senior football at the highest levels available on the north side of Brisbane.
Players train three times per week and compete in Football Queensland Academy competitions across male and female age groups. The program covers the following age groups:
| U13 Girls | U13 Boys |
| U14 Girls | U14 Boys |
| U15 Girls | U15 Boys |
| U17 Girls | U16 Boys |
| U18 Boys |
