Welcome To Virginia United Football Club

Welcome to Virginia United Football Club.

Our football philosophy is to play a possession based game, encouraging short passing and individual moments to win games. We are a club that solely focuses on player development in the junior ranks to provide quality all round players for our senior first grade team. All our coaches are FFA qualified and we follow closely the FFA National Curriculum to provide players with the best and most appropriate age based training possible.

Our goal is to be a valued community hub and provide our local players with a professional and enjoyable environment to hone and display their skills.

Information on what teams the club has to offer and the additional clinics available are viewable on the menu above. For up to the minute information please see our Facebook feed.

Academy Football at Virginia United FC

The Junior Academy Football Program (JAFP) is available in the U7, U8, U9, U10, U11 & U12 age categories for each season. Academy teams are VUFC squads that play in the strongest local junior competition available. They are structured to provide promising players access to FFA qualified coaching, a challenging training environment with their peers and a tough competitive game each week.

Playing in the Academy Program at Virgirnia United FC provides an environment to develop the FFA core skills as directed in the National Football Curriculum.

Players interested in joining our Academy Program should contact Academy Director Dan Medhurst (danmedhurst.vufc@gmail.com). Players are selected through trials in November and January or by scoring consistently high in the Club Junior Skill Assessment sessions. This is held in February and all interested players must attend.
