Coach Vacancies

The club has grown hugely over the last 6 seasons and we are always on the look out for enthusiastic and qualified staff. In total 72 teams are due to represent The Reds in 2017. Below are a list of coaching vacancies we are looking to fill before Jan 30th. Please be aware that all coaches MUST have or be willing to apply for a Blue Card.

Senior Mens First Grade Team Manager


Role: To provide support with regards to team organisation, kit, I.T and team equipment throughout the 9 month season.
Pay: Voluntary
Training Night: Tuesday / Thursday 7:30 - 9pm (Attendance not always required)
Game Day: Saturday 4 & 6pm.
Qualifications / Experience: A general interest in football in preferred, light computer skills and good communication skills.
General Expectations: The team manager will help to ensure that the team has all the equipment it needs for training and games. That the team sheets and team activities are completed and booked. As well as ensuring all rules of competition are adhered to. 

U7 - U11 Academy Coach


Role: To work within our club Academy and help provide coaching support for the fellow coaches in that age category.
Pay: $2250 per season
Training night: Flexible. You will be required to lead 3 sessions a week, plus 1 session a week with a non Academy team.
Game day: Saturday morning
Qualifications required: Minimum FFA Skill Trainer but enrolled on the Asia C Licence. All Academy coaches are currently undertaking or fully qualified Asia C Licence coaches.
General expectations in the role: In all junior teams we prioritise players' enjoyment and development above all else. We believe positive performances on the field will come as a by product. The coach will be expected to develop their squad under the guidance of Academy Director Dan Medhurst and follow the FFA National Curriculum to ensure all players have the necessary building blocks for the future. You must be confident coaching striking, 1v1s, first touch and running with the ball.

Senior Women's City League Coach


Role: To coach a team of senior female players over a 7 month period, including 18-22 matches split between home and away.
Pay: Volunteer
Training Night: Tuesday, 7:30 - 8:45pm
Game day: Sunday 2pm
Qualifications: FQ Senior Coaching Certificate, or FQ Game Training Certificate.
General Expectations: That the coach will provide a safe & enjoyable team environment where players can learn football skills and make friends. Coaching sessions should be planned in advance. Match days the team should meet 1 hour before the kick off and the coach should select the team in adherence to the club code of conduct.
